What’s coming up this Sunday at Calvary?
Join us this Sunday morning at 10:45. Plan on getting here a few minutes early and grab a cup of Biggby coffee in the East lobby before you join us for worship.
This Sunday we are once again on a ManHunt. Last week Pastor Dave shared about how the church needs to be what it was called to be, not an institution, not a seminary classroom, not a bunker from the world, but a LIGHT…a light for the world to shine the goodness, mercy, love, and grace of God.
This Sunday the message of ManHunt gets even more personal…what are we—meaning you and me—meaning not a collective “we”—but really what…are…YOU…doing to get involved in the hunt.
Dave will also be sharing in depth about the upcoming EACH campaign and ways we can be involved as a church and as individuals. There are over 400—that’s right over 400 churches in the Metro Detroit area that are involved in this outreach effort that begins the day after Easter (April 25) and goes on for 40 days (until June 3).
This Sunday is also the debut of Choros. This is Calvary’s new 10 voice vocal ensemble headed up by one of our worship artists John Heldt. You’ll want to be hear and experience their heartfelt worship.
The worship team has also been preparing to lead us in worship. We are worshipping God as the One who pursues us—the God who loves us.
Here are a few of the songs they will be sharing with you. Click on the link (or paste to your browser) to hear the song and get your heart prepared to worship with us.
