Prayer Walkin’

How are the prayer walks going? Anybody have a story to share?

  1. I was nearly accosted by two VERY LARGE boxers. As in, boxer dogs. They turned away right before they reached me.

    Clearly they were intimidated.

  2. It was such a blessing to join in this effort the past week. My son (21 months), husband and I went out late Sunday afternoon and it was HOT! We had quite a bit left to do so we went out this morning (Wednesday) and it was a BEAUTIFUL morning. The neighborhood we were praying for was quiet, and it just felt like a great place to connect with God!

We stopped at a home on Sunday and a couple was outside. When my husband approached them with the hanger, they told us they wouldn’t be needing one, because they were part of the EACH campaign through another church. How cool to share that with strangers!

I’ve really enjoyed praying for people that I don’t know personally, who also do not know I am praying for them. It’s been such unique experience and I hope to do more of it in the future. Thanks Calvary and all Plymouth-Canton churches for you devotion to this campaign. God is doing work, I think you can just feel it around here lately!
